The Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) program is an online training program developed by Minnesota’s Homeland Security and Emergency Management, a division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, to ensure that the health and safety of the public is protected in the event of a radiological incident at the Monticello or Prairie Island nuclear generating plants.
The REP training for first responders includes online training modules on emergency classification levels and the basics of nuclear power and radiation. Supplemental training videos are also available on topics specific to emergency worker decontamination, hospital and EMS, equipment, and traffic and access control points.
