The Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors, Inc. (CRCPD) is a nonprofit, non-governmental professional organization that promotes consistency in addressing and resolving radiation protection issues, encourages high standards of quality in radiation protection programs, and provides leadership in radiation safety and education. The members of CRCPD are from state and local radiation control programs and have expertise in radiation sciences and health physics. The Homeland Security/Emergency Response Council of CRCPD works with federal partners to provide guidance, training, and state input on radiological emergency response planning policy. CRCPD supports state and local radiation control programs in their roles in preparing for and responding to radiological emergencies. CRCPD is one of the founding members of NARR and a part of the NARR’s Tri-Chair leadership team.
